Race Results

I came in 6th. Out of 7. I may be a fast weenie but apparently I'm not the fastest. No one told me there would be that many people cheering me on. I had to stop halfway and make sure all those people were staying put. Thank goodness my human was waiting at the finish line for me.

There were over 600 wiener dogs registered to race at Buda. That's a lot of weenies. We took some photos so I'll put them up next.

I'd like to run again but my racing career is on hold due to a serious injury. My back hurts. After x-rays and talkin' to the doc I'm currently on confined bed rest and lots of pills. My human looks worried so I'll do what she says.

Look for me in Lane 2 Orange.

My momma told me...

...I need to start packing. We're hitting the road again. The big race is tomorrow. I'm pretty excited because the screamin' monkey was brought into play. Well, it's not a monkey anymore but the sound still gets me all riled up.

On the road...

...again.

After another long drive with the pack, my human, Kacy and I sat on a sidewalk and watched a bunch of bike riders go by. There were people on the sidewalk with us and so many of them stopped to visit with Kacy 'cuz she is so friendly. I hung back and just scoped out the sitch until this little boy came and sat down beside me. He petted me and petted me and petted me. I really didn't have a choice in the matter. I was a little tense but eventually I got kinda tired and fell asleep on him.

Now I'm supposed to think "Speed" all the time until the big day. Just 5 more sleeps.

Whoa Nelly!

Everyone knows how much Kacy and I love field trips but this one almost got out of hand.

We stopped on the side of the road for what I thought was a pit stop but instead I had to step in and protect my human and Kacy from some pretty wierd looking dogs.

This one was just standing there. Chewing and chewing and chewing.

And then this thing came out of nowhere and starting honking/yelling at us. Gettin' up in my grill.

So I had to show him who was boss. (thank goodness for the fence).

And as usual we had to stop and take the usual pack photo.
