This wiener blog has become...

...a boxer blog lately.

Kacy went to the boxer doctor yesterday to get her ear sewed up and when the Big Guy went to pick her up she was on a table covered up with blankets and a needle in her leg.  Then he had to drive her over to the very special boxer hospital that she stayed in for a week last year.  She had to stay overnight so the very special boxer nurses could look after her.  Kain and I are wondering what the heck is going on.

WARNING!! If you are at all queasy about dogs and wounds don't scroll down

Kacy finally came home yesterday wearing a cone and a few extra stitches as well as a gaping hole in her ear.  Here she is the first time her ear started to swell up.
This was at less than half the size it eventually swelled up to.  Not once but twice.  Yes, that's right 2 surgeries for the same ear.  She is an ear-flappin' kinda girl.
This is what she and it look like now - remember I warned you.
The Big Guy has to clean it every night because my momma isn't nearly as brave as he is. And Kacy still has to go back to the boxer doctor in a couple days to get that hole stapled shut.  Ouch.

Someday my Big Butt...

...will come home.

The boxer doctor had to fix Kacy's ear.  Again. And this time Kacy had to stay at the hospital for three nights because the doctor didn't like how everything was looking.

I hope she comes home today because Kain is acting all wierd. Like he misses Kacy, or something.

Our regular Sunday morning drive...

...turned into an awfully long test of my social skills.
We went and got the green milk and then the DEElicious sausage (NOT a wiener) wrapped in a bun with some cheese.  And we started driving like usual but this time when we got out of the car I got put on the leash and we stood around and watched some humans running by.
Then after a few hours we walked across a field and all I heard was "ahhh, look at the wiener"  "isn't he cute".  They don't know that I only want to hear that from humans I know.
Some short humans kept petting me but one little girl just wiped sand on my head.  I don't know where she learned how to pet a wiener but I think she needs more lessons.

I was really tired when we finally got home and I am still a little tired this morning.
Me and Kain are holding down the fort because Kacy went to see the doctor again.  Who knew an ear could get so fat?
